Today I would like to briefly talk about working with a personal trainer. Over the past few months I have worked with a personal trainer to help me improve my flexibility, range of motion and most importantly lose some weight. Flexibility and range of motion are extremely important to me as I am a golf professional and my playing ability is directly linked to my physical capabilities. Losing the unwanted extra pounds has also been beneficial because I can truthfully say I have more energy and feel better on a regular basis.

What working with a personal trainer has taught me is this, having someone walk you through exercises and explain the purpose of the exercises you are undertaking enables you to understand how to reach your goals. It is one thing to go to the gym and workout but it is another thing all together when you go to the gym with a plan and purpose in place. A personal trainer brings knowledge and experience to the equation. Even the best athletes in the world turn to personal trainers for help when trying to better themselves. So, why not you too?
